About Me

I  studied at Algonquin College, graduating with honours, and have been treating since 2006.  I also completed the registration exams with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. CMTO

I began my career in Pembroke, Ontario at a physiotherapy clinic where I treated people with various injuries and issues. It is through this experience that I learned to fine tune and develop my skills as a therapist.

My clientele today is a diverse group of people with varying issues.  This includes, but is certainly not limited to, athletes, repetitive strain complaints,  pregnancy, maintenance, relaxation, and sprains/strains.

My training is based on Swedish massage method, as well as other techniques including myofascial release and joint mobilization

Training & Experience

Pregnancy Massages

Pregnancy can bring about many physical changes that can be uncomfortable and difficult to deal with. Massage therapy can help to alleviate some of these issues by reducing muscle and ligament pain. Strategies can also be discussed to help prevent undue strain and pain, such as stretching and strengthening exercises.

Lymphatic Draining

Manual Lympahtic Drainage is a gentle technique of massage which is intended to encourage natural drainage of the lymph, a system which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.

Athletic Massage

Athletic endeavors come with their own sets of muscle strains, tears, and sprains. Properly applied massage technique can help encourage muscle repair and alleviate pain. Stretching and strengthening techniques can be discussed to prevent injuries and encourage muscle recovery.
